Civilisation

Do you hear the wind

Rushing, the disturbing

Way it picks you up

And throws you around

Leaves you up and down

You know the way this works

Every decade or so it

Blows into a new town

Causing carnage

Proclaiming peace

Here to help you soar

But all that is left is devastation

Breaking the cycle

Seems impossible

After 10,000 years

We are unchanging

In our hubristic

Civilisation

Thoughts

Remember when you used to think that older people knew what they were doing? What happened that let you see through the curtain?

Here is a sheep for no particular reason.
