Conversations With Myself

I need a reboot

A reboot up the backside you mean

I have no energy

That’s because you’re bone idle

I’m trying

You most certainly are

I’m doing the best I can

Then why isn’t it good enough?

You know I find things hard

So toughen up a bit

I’m shy

Only to hard work

I’m scared

Don’t be such a baby

I can’t do it

Just snap out of it

I’m not you

Yes, you are

Thoughts

We have so many conversations with ourselves don’t we? Different facets of our personality battle for supremacy. I think of it like this tree. Distinct parts, all beautiful but all sharing the same root. Don’t despise your negative thoughts. Make friends with them.
