Gyroscopic

Please

Bring me back to the centre

I so easily

Spin out to the edges

Where everything blurs

And my world is turned

Under and over

Keep me fixed but free

Floating in the sea

As it churns and turns

Let me remain

Upright and calm

Bouncing back and

Rebalancing

Gyroscopic in my movement

Speed but stillness

Soothe my weakness

Thoughts

It’s very easy to get overwhelmed. The stress of daily life can build without us realising.

This patio was grim but it didn’t get that way over night. It took a year of being battered by the weather. Only when I started to clean it did I see how dirty it had become. If you feel this way, metaphorically jet wash yourself in the face. It might make all the difference.
