Lack of Motivation – 4th February 2026

I don’t want to write today so

I will do it anyway

That’s the thing about having a practice

You have to practice

Even if others are getting in your way

And there is nothing to say

Don’t fear repetition

When it’s only for you

Do the work

Write the words

See that even when devoid of subject

Or inspiration and lack of point yet

In this moment you are creating

It’s not great art

But it seldom is

That’s not the point

Commit commitment wins for earlier

This page was empty

And now it is full

And that’s motivating

In the times you have none

Still feeling under the weather but the poem gods must be appeased.

Today’s picture is a quote from SABASISTER GK from my Hobonichi Planner. It sums up my entire philosophy when working with people. Skills can be taught but the character, integrity and honesty of a person is most important.
