Today Feels Special – 11th March 2026

Not for any reason

That I can think of

But because of a lightness

That has been missing

For longer than necessary

I’m optimistic

Not for tomorrow but for now

For that is all we have

Don’t sacrifice it on 

The altar of the past

Or dedicate it to the 

Gods of the future

Neither of them exist

In this present moment

But you, brave and beautiful

Warrior fight on

Sometimes it is hard to be optimistic. Sometimes it’s easier. Remember, the battle is with yourself, not with other people.

What a skyline. Paris is spectacular.
