Elastic Nature – 26th January 2026

I am learning to embrace

The elastic nature of time

And where I am on this

Line as it tenses

And releases into our present

And soon to be past

What future pull will

Draw me forward to a

Place that I do not wish to go

How much of this ebb and

Flow mirrors my breath

Do I speed up in times of anxiety

Can I slow down the world

As I draw in more air

Let us see

What does it mean to sit outside of time? Would the items in the Musee d’Orsay feel fresh and new? Is anything really old?
