An Intricate Puzzle

You are not

An intricate puzzle

Waiting to be solved

By a stranger

They do not hold

The missing piece

That will complete you

Anyone who says otherwise

Will finish you

Promises are easily made

But promise me this

That you will listen to others

And weigh what they say

Take in the good

And sit cross legged

In a silence that will speak

To the very heart of you

You are a cosmic mystery

A gift

And you are loved

Thoughts

Sometimes a poem like this needs a suitable image. This is not that image. This is two of three experiments with facial hair. Each one is a warning to future generations.
