When is the right time to turn on the heating

When the leaves begin to fall

When the bones begin to ache

When the thin roof of ice

That covers each puddle breaks

With leaden foot falls

Must we wait for November

Even though we feel the chill

Could an extra sweater solve

The problem and assuage

Our climate crisis conscience

Should we light a fire

Or log burner now we know

Of all of the poisonous particulates

That we would ingest

Should we move into a commune

And sleep twenty to a bed

Feet to head Charlie Bucket style

Or should we stop overthinking

Every

Little

Thing

There is no need to post about it

Now is the time

Thoughts

How did we figure anything out before the internet? Parents, Grandparents and friends. If all else failed, the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

Took me over forty years to final see DuranDuran. Happy early teenage memories restored.
