Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out

There is a suggestion from some

That music lives between the notes

Others dismiss this as preposterous

As a pragmatist, I feel music lives

Upon the stave and in the air

And all can find it there

If they have ears to hear

Silence wasn’t caged in 4:33

It was freed, released

For those who have eyes to see

Such beauty is all around

If only we can get out of the way

Shut out the din

That is ever present

Humanity is eight billion

Individual radio stations

All playing at the same time

There is the unheard

Drowned out by all

Take the time to tune

Into these quiet voices

And embrace what

They have to say

Thoughts

A peaceful picture to help soothe your cluttered mind.
