Infinite Blue

Infinite blue beckons me skywards

With incremental options

Too tiny to mention

Where shall we go

When we are free to roam

Homeward or onward

Pushing at the very

Fabric of time and space

Seven billion billion billion

Atoms held in close containment

What say you?

Shall we explode?

Disperse ourselves across the globe?

And share the unseen parts

Of us with those we’ll

Never get to know

Of course we can’t

Although it feels like we’re in charge

We cannot separate our soul

Thoughts

How much of me was left in Melbourne as I took this picture? How are the couple who had just gotten engaged? I hope they are healthy and happy. A part of them is with me.

I stole their shoes.
