Written Word

There is a gracefulness to the

Written word that cannot be

Equalled by typeset or font

Even my scratchings speak of

Uniqueness in an homogenised world

Is this happening to our

Vision of beauty

Where AI filters mean we all look the same

Please, no

Give me your grey hair

Your wrinkles and warts

Your multiple chins and

The way you squint when you grin

For if we look the same

Then how long

Before all artistic endeavour is

Nothing but formula

Stay weird and wonderful

And uniquely you

You’re our only hope

Thoughts

Originality is hard to find. I guess there is nothing new under the sun but I love how people are able to create. Would A.I. ever think of building such a temple? People are amazing. Sri Mariamman Temple – Singapore.
