I want to thank

All the people who have

Crept into my life

Or barged their way in

When I least expected it

You offered me a chance

to learn about myself

For that I am grateful

Even if I didn’t express it

At the time

We are all trying to figure

Things out and our biggest

Mystery is often ourself

Did I not like you because

You reflected a part of me

That I wasn’t ready for

If so, please forgive me

You gave me a gift

But I opened it too early

Living in peace with others means living in peace with oneself. We contain a multitude and they are all mard.
