Humble Brag
Oh I do like it here
The air is so fresh
Especially by the waters edge
Where I can see each little
Fishy gazing back at me
I know that look
We’ve both seen some stuff
Haven’t we, little friend?
And let’s not pretend that
Travelling so far will help us forget
For I know I brought
Those memories with me
Packed in a case that I always carry
And how about you
On you swim through the most spectacular blue
Looking for food and
Hiding when hunted
I know you remember
Each random encounter
But today on this beach, we both
Choose to let go

Thoughts
Another poem about the beach and sea. Well, here is a picture of Dubai Creek. It’s not quite the same but it will do.
