A Dangerous Animal

Do we ever reach the end

Or do we turn the page

And begin again the same

Cycle of events

Only this time with better weather

Or greyer hair

Some see time as cyclical

A continuing spiral of

Repetition and release

Can we ever learn

Or are we doomed to

Repetition without release

How many times must

We play in the east

Before we see the

Truth of who we are

A dangerous animal

Who cannot accept love

Thoughts

I try to avoid spelling out what my poems are about. If you would like a bit of insight for today, take a look at what the US have been up to in the last 24 hours.

Here is a close up of Jenny Saville’s exceptional brush work. A reminder that peace gives people the chance to create beauty. It’s hard to paint when you’re fighting for survival.
