Writing

The intricate whirring of

Ancient hard disk drives

Speaking a language

I don’t understand

Is taking my data

And making it safer

By backing it up

With a simple command

I say that it’s simple

But what do I know of

The magic of code

Some invoked long ago

For that I am grateful

For I’m but a servant

Who tends to the story

That I’m yet to know

Thoughts

It has been a day of writing, some of which I hope to share in the future or in the past.
