The Cave
A voice beckoned me
into the cave
Come
Deeper
Do not worry for light
Your eyes will adjust
in time
You are safe
in this place
of immense danger
Feel the floor beneath
your feet fall away
as walls so steep
drift apart and guide your way
Deeper
Come
into the cave
Thoughts
We must all enter into the cave at some point in our life. Don’t leave it until the last five minutes as it may come as a terrible shock. Start visiting when you think you are ready.
I was reminded that cave is French for cellar. Good wine for all.
