I’ve Spent The Day – 9th April 2026

I’ve spent the day

in a strange new world

One of my own creation

It speaks of beauty

and opulence

of loss and devastation

I feel the heat

from golden sands

and hand in hand

the couple planned

to change the world

but one could not accept defeat

or face their motivation

It has been a day of re-reading and writing but the day has gone and a poem is required. Here it is along with a picture of me which ended up being used as an album cover.
