Finish Strong

Finish strong

said the man

with his hand

on the speed

controlling each step

as I controlled my fall

Thirty seconds

You can do it

Imagine how proud you’ll feel

but I only felt

exhaustion

Finish Strong

Thoughts

Some people seem to love running. I am not one of those people. It has always been, and will always remain, an effort but now I run slower. Taking my time and avoiding injury. Maybe I can make this controlled fall last.
