Simplistic

Someone is listening to a song

so simplistic in structure

that the sound of an engine

from an aircraft above me

offers more melody

time signature shifting

and harmonic content

than the auto tuned monstrosity

that calls itself music

Thoughts

Now, I appreciate that music, like all art, is subjective but I thought I might have a bit of a moan about whatever song I can hear in the background as I write this. We live in a golden era of music. The problem is it is drowned out by a lot of simplistic, lowest common denominator garbage. Dig a little and you will find some gems.
