Sore Loser

Am I a sore loser

or have I lost my saw

somewhere in the garage?

Is there a correlation

between missing tools

and losing one’s marbles?

Or have I inhaled

too much sawdust

and not drank enough?

Thoughts

Day two of fixing the drawer so it can hold stuff. Lots of sawing wood and sanding. I’ve left it glued together and clamped up ready to fit tomorrow.

This is my 300th daily poem. I celebrate it with a picture from the Australian Grand Prix in 2012.

I can’t remember if this is the winner, Jenson Button or his disappointed teammate, Lewis Hamilton. Either way, that I saw a lot of world champions and a future world champion:

Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso. Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg. Is that a total of 23 championships between them? What a grid line up!
