Today
Today is for reflection
giving thanks
for the time we shared
Although it was only
Thirty-one short years
it was enough
to shape me
in your image
and for that
I am oh so grateful
Thoughts
Today would have been my mother’s 77th birthday had she not died at 54. I wish I could have shown her Paris. I wish I could have shown her everything.
Go give your mum a hug if she is still here. If she has gone, then sit with me a while. Let us share this together.
