Have Words

Sometimes we don’t have words

all we have is a feeling

a kinship

a connection

for sometimes words are not enough

What then?

Then we can offer silence

a touch

a glance

and it can act like a plaster

allowing time to heal

Have Words

Thoughts

I’m too tired to write. My eyes are dry and my arms and legs ache. I see this picture of my first 10k race and wonder how I did it. Then I remember that I was 9 years younger. Sometimes all you can do is put one foot in front of the other, even if it feels hard and slow. We’re are at least moving forward.
