Groove – 17th September 2026

It takes a while

to get into the groove

even after all these years

and although i have

run it smooth

through repetition

and dedication

I find I must ease

my way in

as if entering an ice bath

or a narrow passageway

I’ve never been a morning person. It takes me a while to get going. Yet here I am, writing a poem at 10.00am. Never too late to change.
